What ideas will change the way we think, eat, move, build, care, share and communicate in the future? Find out and have your say at the Ideas Festival Future Thinking session, programmed in partnership with Brisbane Writers Festival.

Future Thinking is an opportunity for secondary students from across Queensland to pitch their ideas for the future at the Ideas Festival.

Students pitch thought against thought in a competition that encourages the developing, refining and testing of new ideas. Further challenges await when shortlisted applicants are invited to articulate their thoughts in a public forum as part of the 2011 Ideas Festival.

Future Thinking is programmed and presented by Brisbane Writers Festival in partnership with the Ideas Festival 2011
